The best drinks that will make you FALL on the floor.

It's officially October, so now I feel a need to express to you beautiful people the prime drinks we should all enjoy for the fall season. I find these drinks as the PERFECT transition to when the colored foliage ceases to fall and things get a little chilly.
  Meaning....IT GON SNOW

Oh, My, God. This beer is probably my top pick for any pumpkin ale right now. I am already a huge fan of the Sam Adams Line (I'm stoked for the winter lager), but to honestly, this is the my first exposure to their pumpkin ale. It's lighter than you'd expect seeing as how you'd think the pumpkin flavor plus hops and barely would make it very heavy. It's the complete opposite. I'm sure my mother can vouch for me but the first bottle I had was done in five minutes. Completely on accident. If you're a beer person and you'd wish to get into the fall spirit, Sam Adams went above and beyond. (Tune in later this month when I critique every pumpkin beer. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it)

What's not to love about this? 1. It's class vodka 2. Seeing as how I love ethnic women, there is nothing wrong with a little caramel. For those unaware Sobieski is a Polish vodka that is at a very fair price for a quality spirit. I convinced the liquor store I work at to start carrying this vodka merely for the reason of the rush it will have over the fall season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Drink Tip: Mix this vodka with Apple Cider hot or cold, it gives your cider a little spike and the caramel mixes elegantly. If you choose to drink it warm, top it off with some whipped cream, caramel sauce, and a dash of salt. You'll thank me later.

I know I know, two caramel vodkas Lo? Really? There is a difference from the two I promise. One, this is an even higher end vodka that seems to be just as smooth as Sobieski, but some how I get a bit more intense bite at the finish of this one. Almost in a way were it is pleasant. This is simply a second option to the latter vodka. These are for your single Friday nights but you still want to keep up your dignity.

Again, Fall is that time of year when we brace for the colder days and longer nights. This liqueur is for those Irish cream lovers, but who don't want to rush the mood Irish cream calls for during the holidays. This is a great liqueur at an awesome price at Gates Circle Wine and Liquor to help ease your craving for something sweet and rich in flavor. I've never had pumpkin pie before, but if in fact it's as good as this, I'll never look back.

Whiskey is an important spirit to have all year around, but why don't we try something new. This is a Canadian Whiskey that almost imitates itself as a bourbon (Or maybe, I just have a problem drinking everything with an alcohol content straight) if you haven't caught on to what I look for in a drink, it has to be smooth. I want to be able to have the liquor sit in my mouth for a few seconds so I can appreciate it's character. No offense to those Jack lovers, but I can't do that with it. It forces too much tar and a oak taste that churns my stomach. Collingwood has a lot of potential even conveys this sweetness to it. I think it's a great Fall whiskey because it is another filler to the sweet tooth we get when those Sunny days disappear.

Don't worry I didn't forget the Wine lovers. This is a Spanish Malbec from Argentina that has a great fruit following, with some tannin. It's something you can drink with brie, or have a meaty stew or soup with. It compliments almost everything and I find it to be a great transition for those heavier grapes like Cabernet, Merlot, and Syrah.

All of these wine and spirits can be find and MY favorite place to shop and my job! I cannot stress how great the prices are here and because of that, it gives everyone in the area the opportunity to experience new things.
